The non-binary pride flag is a symbol used by individuals who identify as non-binary, which means that they experience a gender identity that falls outside of or beyond the traditional gender binary of male and female. The non-binary pride flag consists of five stripes: yellow, white, purple, black, and pink. The yellow stripe represents those who are outside of the gender binary, the white stripe represents those who are agender or genderqueer, the purple stripe represents those who are both masculine and feminine, the black stripe represents those who are questioning their gender, and the pink stripe represents those who are neither masculine nor feminine. Some people who are non-binary may also identify as genderqueer, bigender, or genderfluid, and may use other pride flags in addition to the non-binary pride flag to represent their identity. The non-binary pride flag was designed by Kye Rowan in 2014.
